The last year

It has been a year since I updated our blog....Sorry it has been a wild and crazy last year.
Since our last post I found out I was prego.. we moved and I started a new job. We moved to a rental in Northwest Reno in June of 2010, I also started my new job at Henry Schein in June as well. I found out I was pregnant in May and that my Due date was January 10th, 2011. Needless to say the month of April must be Bryan and I's lucky month. We got married in April and conceived both of our children in April.
I thought for sure we would be welcoming another baby boy to our family....I was wrong, we were going to be having a girl. A few short months later we welcomed Isabella Jade Rogers to our family. She has blessed us and made our family complete. Bryan is so in love with his baby girl and Hayden is also in love with his sister. Hayden is very protective of Bella..It is so cute. We named Isabella Jade after her godmother Jade. We also asked Garye to be her godfather. We are so blessed to have them as her godparents. Bella loves them so much and so do we.
We also found out that Bryan's best friend had a brain tumor and had to go to San Fransisco to have it removed. Russ is such a fighter, he had the tumor removed and was home in time for Christmas. He has been so strong in his fight with this tumor. He just finished his first round of chemo and radiation. He is so strong. Here is the funny thing....he is eating more than Bryan now. Pretty soon he will have to borrow Bryan's clothes. lol
We took a trip down to Las Vegas in Feb. to see our good friends Darren and Marie. It was a perfect trip up to Vegas until I got a speeding ticket, there goes my 12 years with no ticket. Bella and Hayden did so good on the trip up there. We had so much fun with Darren, Marie and their beautiful kids... boy do we miss them. We want them to move back to Reno, we are sad to think that they may never move back. The trip home from Vegas was not so good, Bella did not want to be in her car seat. We had to stop four times. We came home to almost a foot of snow, and 4 days later we had another almost foot of snow.
Today we took the kids sledding for the first time with his Uncle Matt, Aunt Tawny, Uncle Garye, Kayden and Maddi. Hayden had so much fun that he cried when we had to leave. He went down the hill with everyone. Daddy and Hayden took a bit of a digger but they both came out without a scratch. I went down with Kayden and Maddi....I'm not going to lie it scared me at first but it was so much fun. Isabella was cuddled up in her snow bunny outfit and she laid in Aunt Tawny's jacket on top of the snow for a long time and was so content. Then she cuddled up with me and Aunt Tawny. She did so good out in the snow. We hope to go sledding with just the adults next time :)

The trip

Well needless to say its been a crazy last two months. I lost my job, we went to Disneyland and on the way home Bryan's car was rear ended while we were stopped at a red light. The guy who hit us didn't have insurance so we had to pay to get the car fixed.

We had so much fun in Disneyland. Hayden was so upset that Mickey didn't talk. He loved Buzz light year and he loved all the fun rides. We plan on going back toward the end of the year with our good friends Darren and Marie and Baby Carter. We are so excited for that trip.
I am enjoying the time home with Hayden but hope to find a job soon. I have been applying everywhere with no luck. Once I get a job we are going to buy a house. So the sooner I get a job the better.

I have learned a lot about what good friends and family are. Bryan I have been hurt so many times lately that we have decided that the people that we want in our lives will be in our lives, the rest will not. For the family and friends that have been there for us we really love you and can't say how much you mean to us. Thank you!!! You know who you are...some have been long time friends and some have been new friends or family.

Hayden is going to be starting swimming lessons next month again. He loved doing it last year so we can't wait to see him swim this year. Hayden is 3 and totally crazy, but we love every minute of it. He is such a fun loving boy. God has really blessed us with Hayden. We plan on having another baby when we get our house....cross our fingers that will be really soon, Hayden really wants a brother or sister.
